Is KakaLab free?
You can download KakaLab for free and use the core tracking features. Some advanced features are offered through an in-app subscription, managed via your App Store or Google Play account.
Does the AI analysis give a diagnosis?
No. KakaLab is not a medical device and does not diagnose. Analyses are for general information and personal tracking. If you have any health concerns, please consult a healthcare professional.
What happens to my photos?
The photos you take are stored on secure servers so they can be analyzed and shown in your history. They are never used for advertising or sold. When you delete an entry, its photo is deleted too.
Do I have to take photos?
No. You can keep a log without any photos by simply choosing your type from the mascots.
What is the Bristol scale?
A classification widely used by healthcare professionals that sorts stool into 7 types by shape and consistency. Types 3 and 4 are generally considered ideal.
How can I delete my data?
You can delete individual entries inside the app. To delete all of your data, follow the steps on the Data Deletion page or send us an email.
